A new destination has arrived on Auckland’s waterfront, Bravo at Cracker Bay. Sitting on the edge of Westhaven Marina, the all day eatery has been designed as a place to settle in, whether that means breakfast in the sun, a leisurely lunch, after work drinks or dinner overlooking the harbour.
As the first hospitality offering within the new Cracker Bay precinct, Bravo brings together contemporary coastal dining and a menu that feels perfectly at home beside the water. Executive Chef Richard Highnam has created a line-up built around fresh seafood, generous sharing plates and comforting classics.

The centrepiece is The Bravo Seafood Tower, a platter designed for two to four people. The menu also includes everything from fresh ceviche and crispy tuna tacos to sesame prawn toast and Cracker Bay fried chicken, alongside pizzas, steak frites and a delicious rigatoni alla vodka with ’nduja, parmesan and pangrattato.

“The goal was to create a menu that feels natural on the waterfront. Generous, well executed and built for people to enjoy together,” says Executive Chef Richard Highnam.
With harbour views and a seasonally driven menu complemented by exclusive Ayrburn wines, Bravo has been designed to move effortlessly through the day, from morning coffee to sunset drinks and evenings that stretch beyond dusk.

“Great developments need places people want to linger,” says developer Chris Meehan. “Bravo is designed to be that gathering place, somewhere you arrive for lunch and stay for the afternoon.”
Boaties are also catered for, with dedicated moorings allowing guests to dock and head ashore for lunch or pick up takeaway favourites including Bravo’s signature rotisserie chicken, seafood and pizzas to enjoy back on board. Bravo Go offers takeaway coffee and cabinet treats for those on the move.

Inside, interiors by Alex Watts and Auckland studio Ctrl Space combine natural textures and layered spaces that flow onto a deck perched above the water. Families are welcome too, with a kids’ menu, a fenced playground and a dedicated games room featuring vintage arcade machines, racing simulators and air hockey.
Drawing on the hospitality expertise behind Ayrburn and reimagined for an urban waterfront setting, Bravo feels designed for the way Aucklanders love to gather.
