La Di Darts Opens in Auckland Viaduct Alongside New Holey Moley

Auckland’s waterfront is about to get a lot more competitive, with Funlab opening its first ever La Di Darts venue in the Viaduct later this month, alongside a major refresh of Holey Moley.

Opening from May 29 2026, La Di Darts takes the old pub pastime and gives it a playful, high energy makeover. Think real dartboards paired with interactive gameplay, digital scoring and a social atmosphere built more around fun than serious competition.

Set right on Quay Street overlooking the harbour, the new entertainment space joins a completely reimagined Holey Moley, which is reopening on June 12 with 18 brand new mini golf holes designed exclusively for the Auckland venue.

The updated course leans heavily into quirky themes and nostalgic fun, with holes inspired by everything from early 2000s throwbacks at Why 2K, to tropical chaos at Pineapple Under the Tree, the bizarre fun of Chicken and Egg, and the neon energy of Zappy as Larry.

You’ll move between the two experiences throughout the night, swapping darts for mini golf and back again, before settling in with cocktails overlooking the waterfront. Signature drinks, including the Peacock Party Cocktail, are expected to feature heavily alongside the competitive spirit.

Funlab says the venue has been designed with social events in mind, from date nights and birthday celebrations through to after work drinks and group functions. Private event spaces and flexible party packages will also be available.

La Di Darts marks the latest addition to Funlab’s growing lineup of “competitive socialising” experiences, following the success of venues like Holey Moley and Archie Brothers around Australasia.

Bookings for La Di Darts are open now ahead of the May 29 launch, while the refreshed Holey Moley experience opens from June 12!
