Dining out just got a little more affordable. EatClub, the dining deals app co-founded by three-star Michelin chef Marco Pierre White and CEO Pan Koutlakis, has officially launched in New Zealand, offering Aucklanders and Wellingtonians up to 50% off their restaurant bills.
Launched in collaboration with Mastercard, the free app features more than 250 restaurants across Auckland and Wellington, including The French Cafe, Cibo, KOL, Atelier, Cassia, Ozone Coffee, Rhu, Eden Noodles, Carmen Jones, Joe’s Garage and Dockside, with more venues being added regularly. Mastercard cardholders can also unlock an additional 10% in savings.
Already operating in Australia and the UK, with more than three million users and 10,000 restaurants, EatClub is designed to benefit both diners and hospitality businesses.
Restaurants can offer discounts during quieter periods, filling tables that might otherwise remain empty, while customers enjoy dining out for less. It’s a welcome initiative at a time when rising costs are putting pressure on both Kiwi households and the hospitality industry.

“New Zealand has an incredible hospitality culture and world class restaurants, but it’s also a very difficult time to run a restaurant,” says Pan Koutlakis, CEO and Co-Founder of EatClub. “Costs are up, margins are tight, and at the same time people are looking much harder at what they spend. EatClub is designed for that exact environment. Diners get genuinely great value at amazing restaurants they want to go to, while restaurants can bring in incremental customers on their own terms.”
Sid Sahrawat, Executive Chef and Co-Owner of The French Cafe and Cassia, also welcomes the platform. “At the same time, consumer habits are evolving, and Kiwis want greater flexibility and value. EatClub allows us to open up our dining rooms to new and returning guests during off-peak times in a way that feels natural, discreet, and beneficial for everyone involved.”

How does EatClub work?
It’s refreshingly simple. Diners browse live offers from nearby restaurants through the free app, claim a walk-in deal when they’re ready to dine and pay using EatClub Pay, a digital card stored in their smartphone wallet.
Discounts are applied automatically, meaning no vouchers, codes or awkward conversations with restaurant staff. No advance reservations are required.
The app also introduces EatClub Earn, allowing users to earn up to 10% back in Dining Credit when shopping with participating retail partners across fashion, beauty, sportswear and home essentials.
With more restaurants joining the platform, EatClub offers another reason to get out, discover new dining spots and support local hospitality, all while saving a little money.
