SkyCity’s SERVED is taking Auckland diners around the world

Fancy eating your way from Japan to the Pacific and Aotearoa without even leaving central Auckland?

SkyCity’s SERVED is back for 2026, bringing two months of special menus, intimate dining experiences and cocktails to the precinct!

Running until 30 November, SERVED spans 11 SkyCity restaurants and bars, with chefs including Nic Watt, Michael Meredith and Al Brown among those involved.

“SERVED is about giving people the chance to eat global while staying local,” says Liz Burrett, SkyCity’s Head of Marketing, Hospitality. “There’s a huge variety of dishes and experiences across SkyCity Auckland, and this is a chance to showcase the chefs and restaurants behind them.”

This really is a great opportunity to taste dishes and experience ingredients from other countries and cultures. At a time when an overseas holiday isn’t within reach for everyone, it’s a thoughtful way to bring a taste of those destinations closer to home, while also encouraging people to get out, dine locally and support Auckland’s hospitality scene.

One of the programme highlights is an intimate Omakase Experience at MASU, where just 10 diners at a time will take a seat at the counter for a seven-course menu with chef Nic Watt. Each dish is designed to showcase the best ingredients of the season, with sittings on selected Thursdays throughout October and November. Tickets are $188 per person.

Then on 19 November, The Grill will host At the Table with Trinity Hill, a special dining experience centred around provenance, patience and respect for the land. Trinity Hill winemakers will be on hand to pour the wines and share the stories behind each glass.

Beyond the special events, restaurants and bars throughout SkyCity will be serving dedicated SERVED menus during October and November, alongside a collection of $20 cocktails created with the House of Suntory.

There’s also an extra incentive to explore. Diners can take part in the SERVED Dining Passport for the chance to win a $5,000 travel voucher to Japan.
