If winter has you feeling run down, Sofitel Auckland Viaduct Harbour has launched The Art of Sleep, a two hour spa experience designed to help you unwind, reset and enjoy a better night’s sleep.
Available throughout winter, the new treatment takes a holistic approach to rest, combining aromatherapy, meditation and mindful breathing to calm the nervous system and encourage deeper relaxation. Rather than focusing solely on pampering, the experience is designed around the idea that quality sleep is one of the most important foundations of wellbeing.

The journey begins with a 30 minute herbal tea bath, creating a quiet moment to disconnect before moving into a personalised 75 minute aromatherapy massage. A soothing 15 minute foot massage completes the experience, and you’ll also receive a take home gift to continue your evening wind down ritual at home.
The new offering builds on the hotel’s long standing focus on restorative sleep, from its signature Sofitel MyBed experience through to its wider wellness philosophy that celebrates rest as a luxury rather than a luxury often sacrificed.

“Sleep is the foundation of wellbeing, yet it is often the first thing we sacrifice. The Art of Sleep is our invitation to slow down and treat rest as a ritual rather than an afterthought. Guests will leave our spa feeling refreshed, revitalised and reconnected with themselves,” says Sofitel Spa Manager Cherry Chia.
The Art of Sleep is available until 30 September 2026 for $280 (usually $320) and is available Monday to Friday. To book, phone Sofitel Spa on (09) 354 7440 or email SofitelSpa.Auckland@sofitel.com.
