One of New Zealand’s biggest one day music events is officially heading back to Auckland Domain, with Mānuka Phuel SYNTHONY Festival returning on Saturday 20 March 2027.
The 2027 event marks five years since the festival made Auckland Domain its home, growing into one of the country’s most anticipated annual music celebrations.
The announcement follows a standout 2026 festival that attracted almost 40,000 people for a packed day of performances from Faithless (Full Live Band), Peking Duk, Shapeshifter, Kaylee Bell, The Black Seeds, The Exponents and, of course, SYNTHONY. More than 2,500 staff, crew and artists helped bring the large scale production to life.

And if you’ve never been, trust us, seeing this many people all having a good time, is just simply epic!
Fresh from completing shows across Orlando, New York and Los Angeles, SYNTHONY is continuing its biggest international touring year yet, with a 22 city European tour beginning in September.
Duco Touring Founder David Higgins says, “It’s been incredible to see SYNTHONY continue reaching audiences around the world, but Auckland will always be home. Mānuka Phuel SYNTHONY Festival remains our flagship event, and we’re excited to bring fans another unforgettable experience in 2027. Every year we look at how we can raise the bar, and we’re already working on another spectacular line-up and production.”
Festival goers can once again expect two stages packed with local and international artists. The signature SYNTHONY performance will return, combining iconic dance tracks with a full live orchestra, DJs, vocalists, instrumentalists and immersive visual production.
Presale tickets are on sale now, followed by the general public release on 16 July. The first artist line-up will be announced later this year, with fans able to register now for presale access and festival updates. Click here for more info and tickets!
